Report from the Microsoft Build 2020 event
Microsoft Build this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic was organized in the form of an online event. As every year, the conference provided participants with a variety of information from the world of Microsoft technologies.

Microsoft Build is an annual conference dedicated to developers, journalists and enthusiasts of technological innovations from Microsoft.

The event began with a speech by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

Satya Nadella highlighted the role of technology in the time of the COVID-19. In addition, he mentioned about tools for developers: GiTHub, Visual Studio Code and Microsoft Azure. Power Platform will be another tool that will play a big role. Currently 3.5 million users use Power Platfrom to create personalized applications.

Information that was presented during Microsoft Build 2020

HoloLens 2
HoloLens 2 will be available in another 14 countries.

Linux GUI applications for Windows 10
Linux graphics applications will be able to run on Windows 10.

Project Reunion
The assumption of this project is to unify Win32 and UWP applications.

Fluid Framework
Fluid is a technology that supports the co-creation and sharing of documents. During the conference, it was announced that Fluid Framework would be available to developers in the form of Open Source licenses.

Cloud for healthcare
Microsoft has revealed a cloud solution that is dedicated specifically for healthcare.

Microsoft Lists
A new application, Microsoft Lists, has been announced.

Supercomputer
For the development of artificial intelligence (Open AI), a super computer with 285,000 cores and 10,000 graphics systems with a total capacity of 400 Gb/s was built. Details about the supercomputer were presented by CTO Microsoft Kevin Scott:


Microsoft Teams
There could not be information about the success of Microsoft Teams. Currently, 75 million users use the application daily. By the way, further integration of MS Teams with external apps (including Bookings and Power BI) has been announced.
